Global Sustainable Energy Solutions Pty Ltd (GSES) has now released its comprehensive new training manual and online course on Grid-Connected PV Systems with Battery Storage, which provide the knowledge necessary for electricians and solar installers to successfully design and install reliable PV systems that are connected to the grid but also have battery storage.

Grid-Connected PV Systems with Battery Storage follows on (and assumes knowledge) from the hugely successful GSES course Design & Install Grid Connect Photovoltaic (Solar Power) Systems and contains detailed information and step-by-step processes for designing grid-connected PV systems with battery storage, which involves more than just ‘adding batteries’. Content includes calculating load profiles, sizing and installing components according to Australian Standards, possible system configurations and storage planning. On completion of the course, students will be eligible to receive 50 Clean Energy Council (CEC) continuous professional development (CPD) points.
