There are no formal prerequisites for this course, but it is assumed that learners have existing knowledge of grid-connected PV and battery systems. They may have completed a Grid-Connected PV Systems and a Grid-Connected Battery Systems course, hold corresponding SAA accreditation, or have applicable industry experience across residential and commercial systems.

This module covers the commissioning, handover, and long-term maintenance of C&I solar and BESS systems, alongside real-world failure modes and their root causes. You’ll work through compliance verification, monitoring and O&M requirements, common design issues, and operational failure patterns observed across the industry.

Learners will receive a GSES certificate of completion stating they have completed the ‘Commercial & Industrial Solar and BESS Series, Module 8: Commissioning, Testing, and Maintenance’ course. This course is eligible for 15 CPD points with the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA).

A computer, laptop, table, or phone with reliable internet access is required.
