This course is the first in our larger Inspection of Grid Connected Systems CPD series which is worth a total of 100 CPD points if you complete all 5.
The course focuses on an introduction to inspections for solar and battery systems. Here we are outlining inspector requirements, work health and safety, inspector logistics, and some basics on the different types of inspections and what they entail for workflows, testing etc.
Completion of this course and all its elements will result in automatically generated certificate worth 20 CPD points with Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), valid until the XXXXXXXXXXXX.
Additionally, this course is one of the elements required in attaining the UEERE0072 Inspect Grid connected renewable energy systems. Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course, but it is assumed that students have existing knowledge of grid-connected PV and battery energy storage systems. They may have completed a Grid-Connected PV or Battery Systems course, hold an SAA accreditation or have applicable industry experience across residential and commercial PV and battery systems.

Training Outcome
Students will receive a GSES certificate of completion stating they have completed the Introduction to Grid Connected Systems Inspections.
This course is eligible for 20 core CPD points with the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), valid until the XXXXXXXXXXXXX.
Materials and Equipment
A computer, laptop, table, or phone with reliable internet access. It is also recommended to have access to the AS/NZS 4777.1, AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 5139:2019 and AS/NZS 3000:2018 standards to reference while doing the course.

Duration
