Below is an overview of each course: Design and Install Grid-Connected Photovoltaic SystemsStudents holding an electrical licence can enrol in our electrician’s training course, made up of two components: A web-based theory section to be completed online at the student’s own pace, followed by a three day practical training course held regularly at our training facilities in Pambula, NSW. Electricians must complete both the online and practical components to be eligible for CEC Provisional Design & Install Grid-Connected PV Systems Accreditation. This course covers the design and installation principles of grid-connected PV systems. The course covers the content of the following units:
The sections of this course are shown as separate items with individual pricing in our online store, and must be enrolled in and separately.
Note: The total cost for the practical component is $1980 incl GST. To secure a place in the practical course of your choice, you will need to pay the ‘Booking Fee’ of $400.00 and select a course date. You can then pay the ‘Final Payment’ of $1580.00. Payment in full must be made at least 14 days before the beginning of your chosen training dates.

There is no practical requirement for Design Only Grid-Connected PV Systems Accreditation, however GSES provides an optional practical course for those wishing to gain hands-on experience. If you are an electronics or electrical engineer you will be eligible for CEC Design Only of Grid Connected PV Systems once you have completed this course. For all other cases, please check your eligibility for CEC Design Only of Grid Connected PV Systems on the CEC website www.cleanenergycouncil.org.au or call them on 03 9929 4141.
Design Only Grid-Connected PV Systems – Optional Practical CourseStudents who have completed the design only course but also wish to gain practical experience may attend a two day practical course. Due to limited places available, please call our office on 1300 265 525 for available dates.
